Making a booking

  • A booking request can start through the website, email, WhatsApp, or another approved Focus Travel sales channel.
  • A trip is only confirmed once Focus Travel accepts it in writing and any required payment has been received or formally secured.
  • Special requests such as room type, dietary needs, accessibility support, or pickup timing are handled as requests until they are confirmed in writing.

Prices, currencies, and channel offers

  • Displayed prices may vary by travel date, season, supplier availability, active offers, language market, or campaign channel.
  • Quoted totals can be updated before confirmation if fuel, park fees, border fees, supplier rates, taxes, or exchange-driven supplier costs change.
  • The final amount confirmed to you in writing is the amount payable for the confirmed service scope.

Payments and due dates

  • Some services can be secured with a deposit, while others require full prepayment because of supplier rules or short booking windows.
  • Where a balance is due later, the due date will be stated in writing. If payment is not received on time, Focus Travel may release the space or cancel the booking.
  • Processing fees charged by external payment providers are outside Focus Travel direct control unless stated otherwise in your quotation.

Changes after confirmation

  • Reasonable itinerary adjustments can be handled where suppliers still allow them.
  • Any extra supplier cost, rate difference, reissue fee, or transport change caused by a client amendment remains payable by the traveler.
  • If a supplier or route condition forces a change, Focus Travel may substitute a comparable service level and will notify you as early as practical.

Supplier services and local operations

  • Focus Travel coordinates and packages services that may be delivered by lodges, guides, transfer operators, activity providers, or border-handling partners.
  • Operational timing can change because of weather, park rules, transport conditions, border queues, or supplier readiness.
  • Focus Travel will make commercially reasonable efforts to keep the trip aligned with the confirmed plan and to communicate material operational changes quickly.

Traveler responsibilities

  • Travelers remain responsible for passports, visas, insurance, vaccinations, border documentation, and the accuracy of names or travel details supplied to us.
  • You must disclose relevant medical, mobility, or dietary needs early enough for operational planning.
  • Unsafe, abusive, or disruptive conduct can lead to service refusal where needed to protect staff, suppliers, drivers, guides, or other travelers.

Support, complaints, and governing framework

  • If something goes wrong during travel, contact the local supplier and Focus Travel immediately so the issue can be addressed in real time.
  • Post-travel complaints should be sent with the booking reference and supporting detail within 28 days of service completion.
  • These terms are managed from Zimbabwe and are intended to operate alongside any mandatory consumer rights that apply to your booking.
